Allen Zadoff is an entrepreneur, writer, and philanthropist. Allen began his career as an attorney at the Chicago law firm of Sidley & Austin after graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Social Science. After serving eight years in the military he joined Sidley & Austin as an attorney again. His skills as a lawyer helped him gain clients including Transamerica Corporation, Royal Crown Cola, Alcoa, and Allstate Insurance Company. During his time at Sidley & Austin he also worked on an antitrust case which resulted in a $6 million verdict for one of his clients.
After becoming a partner at the firm he worked solely on antitrust cases and was instrumental in obtaining millions of dollars in settlements for his clients. In 1981 Allen left Sidley & Austin to devote full-time to writing and consulting full-time for various business and non-profit organizations (including many Fortune 500 companies). He earned two additional undergraduate degrees: a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from North Illinois College and a Master’s Degree in Library Science from Northern Illinois University.
